Neocloud Crusoe has developed Crusoe Spark Liquid, a liquid-cooled modular data center system delivering up to 3.5MW of compute per unit and scalable to 100MW across multiple units. Cofounder and President Cully Cavness said production will begin next year at the company's factory in Brighton, Colorado, representing a five-fold density increase over the existing air-cooled Spark model. The system supports Nvidia GB300 NVL72 and Vera Rubin NVL72 racks and is the first modular platform to achieve Nvidia Exemplar status for cloud reliability. All liquid modular deployments planned for next year are allocated to Crusoe Cloud, with 20 to 50MW described as the target deployment sweet spot.
Crusoe Spark Liquid's compliance with Nvidia's DSX Modular reference design and its Exemplar certification provide a validated path for deploying the latest high-density GPU racks in a modular, water-free format, which could accelerate AI compute buildout in communities resistant to large-scale data center campuses. The company's vertical integration, including manufacturing its own switchgear at a Tulsa, Oklahoma factory, positions it to sidestep some of the supply chain bottlenecks in chillers, CDUs, and transformers that are slowing broader industry expansion.
Crusoe announcing a new liquid-cooled modular data center product line targeting the latest Nvidia GPUs signals notable AI infrastructure investment by a US operator. The combination of a named company, new product line, and Nvidia GPU support makes this distinctly newsworthy and not previously covered.
